Music Bio  I was born in Venezuela where the latin culture was in the food as much as it was in the music. Growing up, I received my first drum set in 6th grade although the marching band, and indoor band scene is where I received my biggest influences. I pursued those two, in the education system, until I was out of high school. Making the all state band in Texas in 7th grade, I was lucky enough to participate in awesome music. Coincidence or not, latin music (on the drumset) became one of my favorite genres to play. The independence found in all the limbs playing seemingly different parts was technically hard and sonically sounded like a section playing rather than merely one person. I found this attractive for drumming exercises for the advanced player.  Throughout the high school years and thereafter, I competed and won numerous extracurricular drumming competitions. Upon getting out of high school, most of my playing was in the church scene where contemporary and dynamic styles dominated the music. This is mostly where I played for about 13 years.  A few years ago, I started to produce and make my own music. In so doing, I became more interested in two things: acoustics, and timing. I became fascinated with the ability of some people having the ability to maneuver their way through a room blindfolded and thought every musician (and producer) should explore this to some degree. Moreover, recording has tuned my ear to understand timing to a greater level than I ever have.
