Review About Me
I've been playing drums since grade 6, which is about 17 years ago. I started on snare drum and a year later got my first drumset. I started taking private lessons at age 12 and have been formally learning percussion and music since.
I started playing guitar at age 15 and being around so many musicians picked things up quickly. I studied jazz in college and used the guitar to translate assignments. I have written many songs on guitar as well as learned covers that were appealing.
I went to UMASS Lowell and graduated with a Sound Recording Technology degree with a minor in Performance. I can navigate sheet music as well as the studio. I have taught both guitar and drums privately and have run Music Production programs for teens. I have also been contracted to record and produce other bands albums.
I am a well rounded, well educated musician who loves playing and teaching.
I also play ukelele.Gabriel Cr has over 7 years of music experience in the Lynn area.

School Band since 6th grade.

Private Education:
Studied with many private teachers on drumset and percusion. Highlights include Jeff Fisher of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Fred Buda of the Boston Pops (also teacher at Berkley school of music and New England Conservatory), and Bob Gullotti of the band The Fringe (teacher at Berkley and NEC).
Performing Experience:
Played in many bands in New England and toured extensively on the east coast. Traveled to Taiwan to play in a festival with the band "lowercase p" and built up a local following in the Boston area. Over 10 years of performing in various settings. Both Classical and Rock Venues.
Experience Teaching:
Started teaching drums privately in 2003. Maintained between 20-30 students at various age levels and abilities. I started teaching guitar two years later when it became clear that students wanted to work with me on this instrument. I have also ran a Music Production program for teens in studios I designed and maintained.
