Daniel D.

Daniel graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. While at Berklee, he studied under the instruction of Ralph Peterson, Tony "Thunder" Smith, Jackie Santos, and Bob Tamagni. During this time, Daniel worked as a studio musician where he appeared on the radio, film scores, and several albums for various artists. He also performed in places such as the Upper Valley Music Festival, and Boston Symphony Hall with GRAMMY award-winning conductor Arnie Roth. Before obtaining his bachelor’s degree, Daniel had the distinction of being the sole undergraduate student in the state of Massachusetts to hold a position at eastern district junior, senior, and all-state conferences as part of the Massachusetts Music Educators Association (MMEA) in 2016. This position gave Daniel the opportunity to serve students inside and outside the classroom. Students taking lessons with Daniel can expect to learn a variety of different styles of music on the drum set and/or percussion instruments while setting and achieving their own musical goals. Through proper technique, coordination, and application, students will be challenged and encouraged to improve their listening skills and overall musicianship. In addition to teaching teaching privately, Daniel currently serves as the Director of Music at Brooks Collegiate Academy where he teaches concert band, orchestra, drumline and music theory in a K-12 setting.
