Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Alex is a first generation Cuban-American. Inspired by the sounds of his parents radio and MTV, Alex's love for music came at an early age, studying the guitar at age 8. At 12 years old he switched to the bass guitar and by 17 had added the upright. Alex worked professionally around the South Florida Area and many parts of Spain before moving to NYC, where he has been playing, recording, educating and touring for the last 13 years.
