Jeffrey Stu.-

Jeffrey was born and raised in Dallas, TX. Struggling from identity crisis from adoption as a child and the divorce of his parents early on, he knew he wanted to be a musician. At the age of 6 he would listen to the rock of Elvis Presley, Dion and the Belmonts, the Beatles, The Beach Boy, and most bands of the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. Throughout school he would study and each time he opened a book he saw lyrics, or musical notes. All he could think was music. It was at this point he knew that he needed to play an instrument.

He picked up the drums at the age of 10 taking private lessons at the Episcopal School of Dallas and at Brook Mays by Fred Gleber. Fred told him that he had raw talent and with practice he could be great. Taking this to heart he practiced as much as he good to get as best as he could be. He then took private lessons at various schools and attended two of the Berklee College of Music summer programs in California.

Jeffrey joined a band at the age of 12 that was a Blink 182 cover band hired to play at high school parties. From this he moved on to a 60’s and 70’s cover band and he then entered high school. Throughout his high school years he was in 6 different bands, three of them at the same time. Some of these bands opened for acts such as Amber Pacific, Drowning Pool, Fall Out Boy, and Mushroomhead. He now lives with his band Fictional Freedom and plays shows frequently around the Dallas area and will soon be branching out.

Jeffrey has always known that music is the universal language and without it he would be lost. By being in a band and teaching private lessons he hopes to share this love and passion of music with the world.
