My goal as a teacher is to cultivate in each student a foundation for expressive and healthful singing, including an increasing knowledge of music theory, in an environment that is fun, exciting and fosters the desire and ability to create music independently. My methodology will allow students to perform vocals of any genre with elasticity, range, and power. Proper singing technique can be applied to any style of singing, from choral music and opera, to r&b, progressive rock, and Kpop!

Private Education:
Aside from 6 years of applied voice lessons, I have over 10 years of experience composing, scoring, and producing original music for various projects and competitions. I am proficient in software such as Sibelius, Finale, and FL Studio, and have a working knowledge of modern recording techniques, studio equipment and sound design.
Performing Experience:
I, too, recall what it was like to be young! Throughout High School I participated in All-County and All-state choruses, so I have personal insight into the preparation and rigors expected of young singers. I can certainly provide an advantage to students preparing for these types of events and competitions. Since those days I have studied vocal literature across a variety of styles, historical contexts, and over 7 languages. I have performed in collegiate Men's, Mixed, Chamber, and Mass choirs, and alongside professional symphony orchestras (Pops! at the Bell, Video Games Live 2009-'11).
Experience Teaching:
I have taught private lessons to a handful of students for several years, and have led countless section rehearsals within a large number of choirs.

I have known Daniel G for about fifteen years, first as a student in our baccalaureate program in music, and then after graduation, as a young colleague. Daniel is a gifted singer, highly intelligent, and possessing an engaging personality. He would be a strong asset to your business. I have been working as a music colleague with Daniel for over 11 years now (I am actually in the above video singing with him!). Daniel is the consummate professional. His attention to detail, his willingness and desire for improvement, and his genuine concern for the well-being of others are all hallmark traits of what he has to offer. He is exceedingly patient and will take whatever time and effort is necessary to ensure that his students not only improve as musicians but also thoroughly understand the material on which they are working. Daniel would be an excellent choice for instructor. He is patient and mild mannered. He also is effective as well as productive. He has excellent customer service skills, internally and externally, and would be an asset to any company.
