I have over 15 years experience in playing dreadnought guitar, with focus on rhythm and basic picking, singing, and songwriting, and studied commercial music with Scott Faris and Mickie Vasquez at South Plains College. I have taught beginning guitar to elementary and middle-school aged children. I also have experience teaching bassoon and marimba lessons to middle-school and high-school aged students and can provide references if needed. Oh, and my mother is a K-5 music teacher, so I've been learning and teaching music just about my whole life!

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

I start by teaching students basic chords and strumming patterns, and then move on to complicated chords, picking, and chord changes.
