I enjoy all types of music as it is simply marvelous to listen to all genres celebrated through gifted musicians. I've always admired Billy Powell's piano techniques. My favorite piano composer of all time is Rachmaninoff. My teaching method is to learn the basic keyboard, proper fingering, different timing configurations and theory. I also encourage my students to begin to develop their "ear". This teaches them to listen to the notes and learn how each one sounds so they can one day play without notation. It is up to my student as to which genre(s) he/she wishes to learn.

Performing Experience:
I have performed for over 250 weddings and funerals. I have also performed in concert. I was the pianist for a church in East Point, Georgia (which now has relocated to Fayetteville) for several years in the 1980's, and am a co-pianist for Rebecka Baptist Church in Palmetto, Georgia. I have been an instructor in the past for piano students. I have also done volunteer work for the senior citizens centers.
Experience Teaching:
I instructed piano students in Fayetteville, Georgia, in the early 2000's, in my home. Unfortunately, I relocated to the Coweta County area and had to discontinue my instructing.
