Formal Education:
I formally studied Music Theory for 2 years at a collegiate level
Private Education:
I took private guitar lessons from the age of 10-15, so I know what it's like to start learning an instrument from a young age. A student needs a teacher who is willing to listen and not be frustrated if it takes a student a long time to understand a certain concept. When it comes to guitar especially, I find it important to not just skip over music theory. Although many guitar players use tabs to learn songs and scales, ear training is very important when becoming a better song writer.
Performing Experience:
I actively perform as a solo musician around the Cincinnati area through the Cincinnati Music Accelerator
Experience Teaching:
I have taught guitar to a variety of ages and experience levels over the past 5 years, but I'd say teaching beginner guitar is my niche. I also teach music production and beat-making! Pro Tools and Ableton are my main DAWs

My son loves him!
