I have been playing the guitar since the age of 17 and started a band in Chicago called Road House. In my mid to late 20's I started teaching guitar. I moved to Tucson in my early 20's and started a family. I now have two sons and two grandkids. I have been in Tucson for near 30 years.
I have been at my present location for 6 years and have been teaching the last 4 years. I had to take a break for two years recovering from a back surgery. I am in the band Signals, a Rush Tribute band and also we just started a Journey Tribute band soon to hit. In both bands I am the rhythm and lead guitarist.
Joe Bo has over 29 years of music experience in the Tucson area.

Performing Experience:
I have been playing and teaching guitar for near 30 years. I play in two different bands. I have played on stages and performed my guitar playing history.
Experience Teaching:
I have been teaching of and on for near 30 years and the last 4 years at the same location.
I teach how to read tablature sheet music basic to advanced.
I start with the basic finger exercises. The basic staff sheet music.
Basic to advanced chords and chords patterns / progressions.
Scales for lead solo's.
I teach students basic and advanced songs.
Also teaching how to write songs.
I will also work with students on getting ready and learning how to play in bands.
