  At 23 years old, violinist Sophie has thrilled audiences all around the world. She has performed with the Juilliard Orchestra, the Conservatoire Nationale Superior de Musique et Danse orchestra and worked with world renowned conductors such as Alan Gilbert, Semyon Bychkov and Christoph Eschenbach. Sophie is continuously pursuing to absorb as much musical knowledge as possible in all areas of music, to interact and share music with other prestigious musicians all around the world. Admitted at age 12 into the Juilliard Pre-College program she received 3rd prize in the Mozart Violin Competition. 2 years later Ms. Pariot was chosen to play on “From The Top” live Radio Show at Music Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio and in 2009 she won 1st prize at the Eastern Music Festival Competition. Born in France, her family moved to the United Stated where Sophie began learning the violin at 6 years old. She recently graduated from The Juilliard School and currently attends the prestigious Conservatoire Nationale Superior de Musique et Danse in Paris. Recently Sophie traveled on a 11 day tour around China with the Schleswig Holstein Festival Orchestra. She has also performed with other orchestras as principal, and co-concertmaster of the Stamford Philharmonic Orchestra, The Aspen Music Festival Orchestra and the Starling String Chamber Orchestra. Sophie is a vivid chamber musician as well, having taken part on Juilliard’s Chamberfest and performing at music festivals. She has been teaching for the past 4 years in New York and now in Paris with students of all ages. She is constantly finding new ways to challenge herself and the student and to make learning the violin as exciting as possible. Le Conservatoire Nationale Superior de Musique et Danse provided a rigorous teaching seminar to help shape the next generation of musicians and give helpful suggestions, it has brought many new ideas for Ms. Pariot her teaching methods over the past year and how to move forward. Ms. Pariot has had the chance to study with exceptional teacher such as Laurie Smukler, Stephen Clapp and work in masterclasses with such as Maxim Vengerov, Midori and Noah Bendix-Bagley.
