Hi! My name is Risa. I started learning classical music 22 years ago, and stayed in lessons for about 3 years. After being classically trained in piano, I continued to pursue knowledge of music theory while I taking guitar lessons. Over the last 22 years in my journey of playing music, I have been on multiple music teams, trained by classical pianists and recording artists. I began teaching beginner piano/guitar lessons about 10 years ago.

Beginner -
Music lessons should not be technical-it should also be experiential. In every lesson, you can expect to learn the logistics of reading music, learning scales, arpeggios, intervals, and all the technicalities that come with music theory-but my priority in each lesson is that my students leave more passionate about music than when they began. Playing music is one of the greatest joys of life, and I have full confidence that my students will leave each lesson feeling the same!

I have known Risa E. for nearly 10 years as her employer, direct supervisor, and friend. She is a person of the highest character and strongest work ethic. I've always know her to be a self-starter. She follows through with what she starts. Since I have known her, she has trained and helped dozens of musicians improve or develop their skills.
