Tim has been studying the piano since age 12. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music where he studied with Andrew Cooperstock at the University of Colorado. He has also earned degrees in Economics and Physiology and attends medical school at Nova Southeastern University. Tim is especially passionate about teaching students and helping them succeed in learning to play piano with confidence. Tim is especially drawn to classical music and he is dedicated to continue teaching piano throughout his career.

Professor of Music (University of Colorado at Boulder)
November 9, 2017 Letter of Recommendation for Timothy I am a Professor of Music Theory at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Tim was my student for two semester-long classes while he was a music major at CU-Boulder. Tim is smart, diligent, and able to grasp broader concepts while at the same time attendant to details. Music theory is a discipline involved in principles of musical organization and musical grammar. Not many of my students earn a grade of A in my classes, but Tim did for both. My conversations with him outside of the classroom revealed him to be interested, intellectually curious, and humble. It seems to me that he would make an ideal teacher, and I recommend him highly.
