My name is CJ, and I have been a drummer for around 7yrs and have played a wide variety of music genres, in a wide variety of places between south and central Florida. I've played in different churches as well including, Oasis Church of Pembroke Pines, Potential Church of Cooper City, First Baptist Orlando, and Crosslife Church just to name a few. I am currently finishing up my Jazz Degree at the University of Central Florida while also double majoring in digital media: Web Design. I do also play locally as a hired drummer for different bands like Run Raquel, Skydive Dallas, Spectrum, Gwen and friends. I have some experience with studio drumming, and I'm also working on some solo projects.

Chris (C.J.) recommendation
I cannot speak to Chris's teaching ability, but I currently have him as the drummer in my workshop (combination combo/theory class) and a student in the Jazz Styles & Analysis class I teach at UCF. He has previously also been the drummer in an earlier UCF combo I directed. I have found him to be a reliable, amiable, easy going, conscientious, hard working contributor in each environment I've been involved with him in.
