My passion in life is music, and sharing this passion with others is one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever achieved. I am a highly motivated and ambitious individual, and work hard at anything I do. Although, I have never experienced the fulfillment I gain while teaching, performing, and playing the piano.
Angela B. has over 18 years of music experience in the Arvada area.
Angela B. is proficient in and teaches Keyboard and Piano Lessons .Formal Education:
In 2003, I attended Mississippi College as a Piano Education Major for one year. I later studied Biological Science as well as music at the University of Mississippi. In 2011, I graduated with a Bachelor in Biology and a Minor in Music.
Private Education:
At the age of 6, I began piano instruction with an amazing piano instructor by the name of Susan Walker. Mrs. Walker had obtained a Master's in Piano Education. I studied under her from age 6 to 18; therefore, approximately 12 years.
Performing Experience:
I performed with a rock band called, Gritz the Band, for approximately one year. We performed at community events, and recorded at Studio 61 in Leland, MS. I have also worked as a professional pianist for several years where I was payed to play professionally for weddings and speical events.
Experience Teaching:
I taught piano to children ages 6 to 18 for approximately 1.5 years. I owned my own studio in Terry, MS where students would come on a weekly basis. This was by far the most rewarding experience I have ever achieved.
