I have a love for all things music and guitar related and am very excited to be able to start sharing that passion with new students. I'm a firm believer in designing my student's program based on what they want to learn and accomplish. This allows the student to learn and retain information at a faster rate as well as keep them intereste I have many musical influences from classical to rock but my favorite guitarists include: B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton and Richie Sambora.

Beginner - Intermediate
You can expect on our first lesson to 1) figure out where you are in your music/instrument playing abilities 2) to discuss what you what to get out of your lessons. I have a belief that all students are different and that difference comes out in what they want to accomplish when learning a new instrument. For that reason alone, all my student's have individually made lesson plans that help them achieve their goals. You can also expect to be treated with respect and have fun while also improving upon your playing, techniques, musicianship and the ability to play some of your favorite songs!

Formal Education:
I have studied classical guitar, music theory and guitar pedagogy at the University of Wyoming and the University of Reading (UK). I am currently a senior at Metropolitan State University of Denver finishing up my B.A. in Music with my primary intrument being classical guitar. In addition to my degree program, I am also currently enrolled in an online guitar certificate program through Berklee College of Music.
Private Education:
I have also studied privately at My Music Skool and School of Rock Denver; as well as completing an educational internship at Westland Studios in Dublin this past summer.
Performing Experience:
I have performed for many different groups both in the US, the UK and Irelan The different performance styles I've performed live include: rock, pop, blues, highlife (Western African genre), classical and punk.
Experience Teaching:
I have many years of experience teaching a variety of different subjects including music and have experience teaching a wide variety of students of all ages and students with mental and physical disabilities.
