I received my education in music quite a bit in High school, playing in Orchestral, jazz, pop, plays and section leader of the Normandy Percussion in Parma Ohio 1988-1989.

I went to Attend the Musicians Institute in Hollywood California. The Percussion Institute was my school there. I had many great teachers there. The best in the business. Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphry, Steve Houghton, Gary Hess, Bobby Gabriel, and a real famous studio drummer named John (JR) Robinson.

I did all kinds of shows in high school and out. I attended PIT in Hollywood California. I played for all kinds of groups at the school and I was picked with our band that year in the top 6 bands at the school to play the Hollywood Palladium for graduation. We also got to be on the student album and record it in studio. I did Cartage for THIRD ENCORE and worked for many famous musicians. One night Rickie Lee Jones's band asked me to sit in with them, I played her famous song Chucks in love too with them. As I came back to Ohio I did a lot of studio work and played for radio and tv and corporate commercials such as, MARCS stores, Vaughn s supermarkets, and American Greetings co. Plus a lot of other recordings at other studios which led to bands and multiple band projects. In 1998 I was touring the states with a Christian band and we played the St Louis MO. Trans world dome stadium for 22,000 people. Steve Angrisano, David Hass, and many other artists I have played for.

I have taught lessons, I have also tuned my students drums and did muffling and positioning of drums and drum sets for best playing ability. The parents liked this a lot. I show students the basics such as rudiments, proper holding of sticks and positions. Then we can work up to the set. All great drum set playing starts with good basic rudiment skills. More than just being able to play the drums, a drummer needs to learn how to be a good musician. hearing and learning how to interpret what to play on the kit is essential to a well rounded drummer.
