International performer Joe previously performed as Principal Trumpet with the Albany Symphony of Georgia, as Associate Principal with Sinfonia Gulf Coast, and is currently an active freelancer and clinician currently based in San Antonio, Texas. Additionally, he served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Trumpet at the University of South Alabama while Dr. Peter Wood was on sabbatical, and performed with the USA faculty brass quintet. Joe earned his Doctor of Music degree at Florida State University, where he also served as a Graduate Assistant to his mentor, Dr. Christopher Moore. Joe also holds degrees from Brigham Young University (David Brown) and the University of Michigan (William Campbell). Giving particular emphasis to new music, Joe has given recitals across the United States. He enjoys meeting and collaborating with new and unique musicians, and loves being involved in the creative process.
