My name is Quinten, I am the lead guitarist in thrash metal band X.I.L, and apart from that I have a diverse taste in music. I grew up listening to my aunt's collection of the Beatles, the Doors, blink-182, Johnny Cash, and Queen. My biggest influences are Marty Friedman, Jason Becker, and Jeff Buckley.

I've excelled in a few college classes on music theory and music history.
Private Education:
I devote most of my time to music, whether it be writing, learning, or performing. The styles I've studied under the most are Marty Friedman's contemporary Japanese metal, and Jason Becker's neoclassical metal.
Performing Experience:
X.I.L has had many performances the last two years inside and outside San Antonio, most notably playing with Nile and Overkill, and the Murder Junkies.

A few private lessons here and there between friends and bandmates.
