Hello, my name is Nicholas, I am a former heavy metal vocalist for a group that I performed I wrote music with from 2006-2013. However, the first time I picked up a guitar was in 2004. I took lessons with a former high school teacher, I incorporated those teachings into the writing process of our group. I also have more experience in the music industry; such as stagehanding, maintaining sound quality during live performances, as well as experience working in a recording studio.
Nicholas O has over 7 years of music experience in the San Antonio area.
Nicholas O is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons .Formal Education:
I have some formal education in reading sheet music as well as notes for different instruments during my time in the music program in my high school as well as some in college. I also learned scales and the basic notes on guitar from my instructor in my personal lessons.
Performing Experience:
Although I joined a group in 2006, we didn't start performing live on stage until about 2008. We performed in different venues across the state of Texas for the next 5 years. Since the group ended I still perform solo shows, playing the guitar as well as performing lead vocals. I am still active in the community always looking for more opportunities to perform.
Experience Teaching:
As far as my experience in teaching goes, I feel I became more attuned with playing guitar in about 2009. I started first teaching my siblings as well as many of my younger relatives. I also have taught many people from the ages of 16-25. I continue to teach some of my fellow peers, I enjoy to constantly learn new things as I teach people what I know as well as discovering more techniques in playing guitar.

Absolutely worth my time!
I have known Nicholas for about 7 years now, and I have to say that his influence has been crucial to both my guitar playing and stage performance. I have personally had 30+ guitar lessons with Nicholas and have been to many of his live performances over the years and would absolutely consider him as a mentor in my 5 years of performing. Nicholas has helped me to build setlists that compliment both my guitar and vocals stylings and even assisted on stage during my first live performance at a local music venue.
