I have had a life-long passion for music, and it has been my immense pleasure to share that with everyone by performing and teaching. Having lived in both the United States and Canada, I have used English, French, Spanish, and German to perform and teach. I have worked with people with special needs. I also offer coaching in stage performance, helping people to gain confidence, master that "extra energy" that always shows up when we're in front of an audience, and increase the impact of their performance.

Performing Experience:
Since 1972, I have performed in a wide variety of settings: concerts; wedding ceremonies, receptions and anniversaries; private parties, circuses; social benefits; brunches; theme parties (German, Mexican, Italian, Greek, Irish, Russian); clubs and restaurants In addition to singing (in five languages), I have performed on the following instruments: Voice, Guitar, Mandolin, Bouzouki, Accordion, Banjo, Bass, Keyboard. The genres of music I perform include Classic Rock and Roll, Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Dixieland, Folk, German, Mexican, Italian, Irish, Russian, Greek, Jewish, Polka, Classical, and Others). Some of my recordings have been regularly played on Radio Canada since 1996.
Experience Teaching:
Since 1968, I have taught Instrumental Techniques, Music Theory and Arranging, Stage Presence and Performance. I have served individuals and groups of all ages, including persons with special needs. The instruments I teach are Guitar, Mandolin, Bass, Banjo, Dulcimer, Accordion, Keyboard. I have used English, French, Spanish, and German to teach.

Review
I had a lesson last week with Andrew. The lesson itself once we finally got started went fine. The problem was with the web classroom. I was able to see myself, and Andrew could see himself-but we could not connect. We ended up using Skype I've not ever used it before so that took a while to figure out. Banjo Lesson
Andy is my instructor. He is very accommodating as far as scheduling my lessons. I'm extremely pleased with my progress and his instruction. He is very knowledgeable and talented. His goal is for me to play things I'm interested in playing-yet playing it correctly. He is patient and very positive. Would definitely recommend him for an instructor. Accordion Lesson
