I have been playing electric guitar for roughly 6 years and classical guitar roughly 5 years.
Joshua A has over 6 years of music experience in the Phoenix area.
Joshua A is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Song Writing Lessons .Formal Education:
I obtained my Associates in Arts degree through Glendale Community College. During my time there, I had studied under Charles Hulihan learning techniques in classical guitar. I had also taken 4 semsters of music theory with my highest knowledge being 20th century music theory.
Private Education:
I have taught a good number of private students in my own home as well as though the Phoenix Conservatory of Music. The ages of students have been between 6 years old to 30 years old.
Performing Experience:
For about 4 years, I peformed with the Glendale Community College classical guitar ensemble, as well as the Glendale Community College guitar quartet.
Experience Teaching:
I have been teaching at the Phoenix Conservatory of Music for 2 years. I have directed and assisted ensembles. I also teach multiple beginning music theory classes and have subsituted for higher music theory classes. In addition to that, I have private students that I teach guitar to. These student's age range from 6 - 18 years old. I have also done after school programs. With 16 - 20 students per class.
