My name is Alonzo. Who am I and what do I do? I play drum set and Djembe drum. I read, compose, and play multiple styles of music. I can sing background vocals while playing and I DJ. I know the importance of working in groups of any size to get things done effectively, and handling stress is not a problem for me. I am very professional and confident that with my playing experience and life qualifications, I would be a great asset to your staff. I’d like to conclude by saying, I have never been late to a gig or been fired from a gig. Commitment, and high moral standards are very important to me. I can work comfortably in any gig environment.

I've known Alonzo P for years. Both as a teacher and as a friend. He is an amazing music teacher and human being. He was my son's private drum instructor for years. My son ended up doing a National TV Commercial as a drummer boy due to Alonzo's teaching. Alonzo has a very easy going and friendly way about him that all kids and adults love! He keeps things FUN! I run my own private music school here in Los Angeles and I've used him and referred several clients to him because I know they will be taken care of by a true professional. I know that not only is he quite a drummer and drum teacher he also teaches other instruments because of his music education and well-experienced background. What can I say about Alonzo, accept that he is a musical genius! Literally!!! Music is his gift, his passion, and all that goes with it. He loves teaching music to any and everyone but especially you kids who are wanting to learn how to play an instrument. Alonzo is patient which is an excellent quality to have when teaching people who are learning this art form for the very first time. An incredible musician in his own right!
