I have a master's degree in music performance from California State University, Sacramento in French horn and have played in the Marine Corps Band in San Diego. I have taught piano, French horn, violin and trumpet for about 15 years.

Worked as a free lance musician on French horn for 15 years, playedin the Marine Corps Band in San Dieog for 4 years and played wtih the American River Brass Quintet, Light Opera Theatre of Sacramento and Camelia Symphony.

Taught private music lessons for 15 years, worked at The Music Store in Rocklin CA where I taught 20-30 private students on beginning piano and violin. Worked for San Diego Musical Minds where I taught after school piano classes and was assistant after school band director at La Mesa Middle School in San Diego

As a colleague of Sarah M. I can say that here teaching skills are highly distinguished compared to other teachers. She is able to meet her students unique educational needs and she empowers them to direct their own learning. I have seen her shape and mold beginning students to professional musicians. Sarah M. also demonstrates the highest of moral standards. She has served four years in the United States Marine Corps. During her enlistment she not only served her duty, but was a true leader in the United States Marine Corps. As a Sergeant of Marines, she led the operations of the brass quintet and played a critical role in the ceremonial and concert band as section leader. During her free time, she volunteered her time to various schools to teach and lead multiple students.
