Hi! I'm Cathy. I now have openings for piano, voice, clarinet and saxophone students! I am a certified music teacher with my bachelor's degree in vocal music, a minor in clarinet, and an endorsement in piano. I have taught many different ages and levels of learning in my 37 years of teaching. I have taught students with special needs, autism, blind, and physically handicapped. I have played and judged for many contests, taught music classes in private Christian schools, taught private lessons to help with children and teenagers in beauty pageants, helped with fine arts competitions, at my church for years. I also help students preparing for musical theater auditions. I was also the Musical Director for Wichita's Music Theater for Young People's, (MTYP) performance of Willy Wonka. I have also worked as the musical director for MTYP's summer camp. I also offer an array of combo lessons and also offer group lessons.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
A professional and encouraging teacher who has 33 years teaching experience who has taught all levels of learning. I teach out of lesson, theory, performance and notespeller books for piano lessons and have recitals every semester. My voice lessons are alot of fun but we work on the main core issues, breathing, etc... while singing in art song books, musicals, pop, Christian, jazz and whatever kind of music the student is interested in. Instrumental lessons begin with the normal band teaching book for their instrument.

BM in vocal performance, minor in instrumental, endorsement in piano from Cameron University, Lawton OK
Performing Experience:
Music director for MTYP's musical production of Willie Wonka, choral conductor and professionalaccompanist.
