Music Lessons in Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge is Louisiana’s capitol and an upstream port neighbor of the state’s largest city, New Orleans.  Baton Rouge is a quickly-growing city with the bold mixture of cultures and interests that are largely unique to Louisiana, particularly in the Mississippi River region.  Petrochemical and technology industries have grown and shaped the Southern capitol, along with a true mix of cultures (Cajun, Creole, even large groups of Hispanic and Vietnamese) and a growing appreciation of the Fine Arts make Baton Rouge ideal for many types of music lessons. In addition, Baton Rouge is home to multiple colleges, including the well-known Louisiana State University.  Being in a college town is always great for those who want to take music lessons, as those schools and universities are often churning out skilled instructors and performers who are all too eager to pass on their knowledge to better the appreciation of music.
