The Tampa Bay Area is a massive and densely populated metropolitan area located on the Tampa Bay in Florida and includes multiple cities such as St. Petersburg and Tampa. A very culture-rich area, Tampa Bay hosts many museums, parks, aquariums, theme parks, and all sorts of cultural and tourist attractions.  Unique to Tampa Bay is the Gasparilla Pirate Festival held each January, where a group of citizens pretends to be a crew of ghost pirates and enters the Tampa Bay (along with the boats of local and tourist festival attendees) then disembarks to ‘invade’ the city of Tampa, but it’s really a parade into the city for the festival!
